I went tonight with my old pal Greg to see Swordfish. My rather low expectations were met; this isn't much of a film. As always, it was difficult not to laugh at the scenes where Hugh Jackman's character does "hacking." Greg wondered afterward why it is that hacking has to be shown as some sort of magic, the dominance of technology by man that simply flows from the fingertips. Why can't they make a movie that shows it for what it is?
