Terrible news from London
Terrible news from London this morning. My thoughts were immediately of my sister, Anne, who teaches school in East London and frequently goes into the city with her classes, but her email arrived just as I was dialing her mobile:
Just a quick note to let you know that I'm ok and not involved in the incidents in central London. A year 5 class from our school were about to go to London Zoo but walked back to school before getting on the tube, no harm done.
So I can stop worrying about one and start to worry about hundreds and thousands of others. The rest of the morning will be the news on BBC Radio 5.
