NCRA Media release re. Suspension of CRTC Balance Policy (1989)

The President of the National Campus and Community Radio Association (NCRA/ANREC), an organization which represents over forty Canadian English-language community-oriented radio stations, today called for the Canadian Radio and Television and Communications Commission to immediatly suspend its policy on balance in community access media. The policy, presented in CRTC Public Notice 1988-161, was issued without a public hearing or consultation of any kind.
