  the horrible truth
                                                                           I kinda believe ...

What is
The Horrible Truth?

It is what we all suspect, but can't prove. And even the most skeptical among us believes a part of it, at least, is true.

One old colleague, a cynic in all matters and highly contrary, once bragged about his girlfriend's ability to drowse, to find water using a bent coat hanger.

Another told me of his friend, a survivor of mental illness, who had, as a child, also survived the horrors of satanic ritual abuse in a nearby, quaint, quiet village.

And my roommate, bless her heart, who knows without a doubt that dreams can tell us the future and minds can meet on another plane.

Some beliefs we cling to, little lights in the night. But others we assume to be true, know to be true, because they hold up one corner of the story we try each day to live.

What is the Horrible Truth? Jacques Vallee says it is the reality waiting around the corner: the too real, too frightening fact that no one dares speak about, always just about to break out into the public consciousness, always about to be real.

The Shaq Harbour
UFO Crash

The 1967 Shag Harbour UFO crash/retrieval may well prove to be the most important UFO case ever to come out of Canada. It has already been compared to the Roswell Incident, though it has one important element that Roswell does not: documentation. From MUFON Canada.
